Mangia’s and Hilton have inaugurated a partnership in Santa Teresa di Gallura destined to change the history of Italian hospitality. The commercial brand of Aeroviaggi will benefit from the expertise of the American group to enhance its own ‘upper upscale’ level of service and strengthen the international visibility of the chain, all while promoting the uniqueness of Italian Taste through the prestigious Curio Collection by Hilton brand.
“This marks a fundamental milestone in establishing ourselves as the leading Italian resort chain worldwide,” stated Marcello Mangia, CEO of Aeroviaggi. “We are leaving behind the old concept based on village-style hospitality in favor of a gradual repositioning to a 5-star standard for our 7 resorts in Sardinia, Sicily, as well as in the new Italian regions under consideration.”
Alan Mantin, Managing Director of Development Southern Europe for Hilton, added, “With Mangia’s, we share the same vision and values, as well as the advantage of initiating a collaboration with their investment company, HIP, which is part of the Blackstone galaxy. This mix of expertise fuels the perfect formula for solid and continuous growth, which, with the renewed Mangia’s Santa Teresa Resort, already brings our properties in Italy to 42. Hilton aims to channel its 165 million Honors loyalty cardholders, representing 62% of its occupied nights, to the resorts within the Italian chain.”
