Blantyre Capital is strengthening its presence in Europe with the acquisition of a 164-room hotel in Frankfurt, which will operate under the LyvInn brand, founded by Navneet Bali, former CEO and president of Meininger Hotels. The property will be renovated and LyvInn will manage the hotel in management.
The plan of the LyvInn brand is to expand throughout Europe through the conversion of hotels and hostels, as well as the renovation of buildings between 3,500 and 12,000 existing square meters, or from 100 to 350 rooms for existing hotels.
LyvInn’s hybrid hotel model will offer flexible accommodation aimed at groups, families and young professionals with flexible rooms and common spaces, such as co-working spaces and “social areas”.
In Italy, Blantyre Capital has recently finalized, with the support of InvestiRE SGR, significant acquisitions. In fact, in the summer of 2020, Blantyre took over a portfolio of 4 Holiday Inns for a total of 779 keys (Milano Assago, Milano Linate, Venezia Mestre Marghera, and Roma Aurelia), and, as a single asset transaction, the Radisson Blu Es. of Roma Termini, 5* with 232 keys. Furthermore, at the end of the same year, Blantyre also took over a real estate in Venice Tronchetto.
