The German group DSR Hotel Holding has taken over 75% of the domestic chain Mira Hotels & Resorts, founded by Daniela Righi and Alessandro Vadagnini. The objective of the deal for DSR Hotel Holding is clearly the expansion in Italy and the growth of the brands A-Rosa, Aja and Henri, as well as brands of the hotel range of the joint venture partner DER Touristik. As reported by Il Sole24Ore, the expansion model will be the acquisition of existing properties and the construction of new structures. The main focus will be on leisure destinations and cities of art, and in particular on the areas of Lake Garda, the Adriatic, Tuscany and the Alps.
