Hilton recently announced global expansion for Hilton Garden Inn starting this year. In fact, 123 new hotels are planned, for a total of 22,094 new rooms. In 2022 alone, 47 hotels are expected to open, for a total of 8,460 rooms, while by 2023, the debut of a further 31 hotels will follow, for a total of 5,384 rooms. Finally, 9 and 36 hotels are expected to be completed by 2024 and 2025, for a total of 1,374 and 6,876 rooms respectively. Of the planned projects, 54 are located in the Asia-Pacific region, while North America will host 23 of the brand’s new hotels and Europe will host 18. The remaining properties will be located in the Middle East (13 hotels); South America (10); and Africa (5).

China is the nation destined to see the highest number of Hilton Garden Inn openings, with 43 hotels and a total of 8,345 rooms. Meanwhile in Europe, Poland will be the country with the highest number of openings of the brand: 6 hotels, for a total of 800 rooms. The expansion of the brand is also expected in Italy, with the debut in Bologna in 2023, with the Hilton Garden Inn Bologna North, with 132 keys. In addition to Padua, with the Hilton Garden Inn Padua City Center, with 130 keys. The two new openings are added to the 7 structures already operational of the brand on domestic soil.
