HR Group, hotel operator based in Berlin, acquired the management and brand rights of 23 structures (approx. 3 thousand rooms) of the Austrian brand Amedia Hotels. Amedia Hotels is an Austrian brand that is part of the Ahc International Consulting company, founded by Udo Chistee in 1983. Ahc International Consulting will retain ownership of 12 of the included hotels in the agreement. The hotels are located in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Italy. Please note that the brand made its debut in Italy, a Milan, in December 2021 with the inauguration of Amedia Milan, a 4 * with a business vocation of 148 rooms located in the Lorenteggio district. Before the new acquisition HR Group was operating about eighty structures in 50 different locations distributed in six countries, for about 12,300 rooms overall.
