ITA-Italian Trade Agency and Invitalia will be attending ITHIC 2023, at stand no. 7 on the Terrace level, as part of the ‘Invest in Italy’ project, aimed at encouraging foreign investments in Italy.
Through Invest in Italy, the Italian Government promotes investment opportunities and the Italian offer portfolio in all sectors (among which hospitality sector plays an important role ) and supports investors throughout the investment life cycle. Therefore, ITA and Invitalia work in close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, local and regional administrations, and other public and private institutions.
On the occasion of ITHIC, the Investinitalyrealestate.com portal will be promoted. It was published in 2016 with the aim of presenting investment opportunities in public properties and in public companies or public-private real estate projects, to local and foreign investors.
It currently features around 400 properties, proposed for sale or under long-term concession. The portal, developed by ITA on the instructions of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Economic Development (now the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy) and in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and State Property Office, is a virtual tool that encourages interaction between professional investment demand and real estate investment opportunities in Italy, selected in terms of location, type and size.
Along with the portal, there will also be an opportunity to illustrate to interested foreign investors the support services dedicated to companies that Invitalia offers, such as asset and location scouting, the provision of investment-related incentives, and all the accompanying services needed to bring investment transactions to a successful conclusion.
Within the overall offer made available by the partners, the following real estate projects were selected for ITHIC. Among the most significant in this edition are:
Valuable Liberty building, built in 1905. The development project, promoted by the Municipality of San Pellegrino Terme, envisages the restoration and transformation of the building with a wellness centre annexed. The project is part of a broader programme of development and redevelopment works in the municipality of San Pellegrino.
The greenfield project, promoted by FS Sistemi Urbani, envisages the construction of a 14,000 square metre hotel within a building that can be extended by a maximum of height of 100 metres (a 25/30 storey tower). The building will be constructed in the Mestre station area, which is the subject of an extensive urban redevelopment programme and is closely connected to the city of Venice.
A candidate to be the gateway to Florence, Scandicci has defined a master plan for the development of the urban centre and the tramway linking Florence, thanks to the famous architect Richard Rogers. The project envisages, among other things, the construction of an 11,700 square metre accommodation facility.
We look forward to seeing you at our stand and invite you to attend the presentation the team Invest in Italy will make on October 20th 2023, at 10.15 am.
