JP Hospitality Investors Club took over the Hotel Milano in Madonna di Campiglio (TN) with the aim of restarting its activities after an extensive restructuring and repositioning plan. The midscale hotel is located in Piazza Righi in Madonna di Campiglio, a ski and summer resort in northern Italy. The property was built in the 1960s and has 44 rooms, including 38 with balconies. There is also a restaurant, a bar and a lounge area, for a total area of approximately 2,900 square metres. The hotel also has equipped wellness areas, including a bio-sauna, a solarium and a gym. The Hotel Milano has historically recorded a stable turnover with revenues that were around 450-600 thousand euros and an EBITDA that, over the years has greatly improved, placing itself in positive territory and travelling around to 18-20% of the hotel turnover.
In line with the other repositioning projects conducted by the group on European soil, the hotel, once renovated, will be launched as an Alpine lifestyle hotel. We recall that, again JP Immobilien Group, had also taken over the Compartmental Building of Trieste from Ferrovie dello Stato. According to the company’s plans, the asset, acquired by the group for EUR 10 million, will be converted into a 4-star hotel with 159 keys and 25hours brand; second structure of the brand in Italy. The Trieste complex was therefore acquired for approximately 62.3 thousand euros per room, approximately 560 euros per square meter.
