PPHE has strongly supported the expansion of the Park Plaza brand in Europe, operating since 2002 with an exclusive territorial license of the Radisson group’s Park Plaza brand in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Through the extension of the partnership, in addition to the Park Plaza, the group would have entered into long-term agreements according to which PPHE would have the possibility to access and exploit the entire suite of brands of the RHG portfolio, including Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu and Radisson RED.
The first hotel to be launched as part of the extended partnership will be the Grand Hotel Brioni Pula, which will open in May 2022 as the Radisson Collection Hotel. Meanwhile, Radisson Hotel Group will have access to the Art’otel and Park Plaza brands in selected regions, mainly outside of PPHE’s core markets. Through this agreement, PPHE will be entitled to fees based on the exploitation of its brands, including Art’otel and shares on the commercial development of the Park Plaza.
We recall that PPHE Hotel Group entered the Italian market in November 2021, with the acquisition of the Hotel Londra & Cargill for EUR 34.5 million, approx. 342 thousand euros per room. Once relocated, the hotel will be inaugurated with the Art’otel brand, the Group’s first in Italy. After the relocation project, the hotel will have 101 rooms, an art gallery, restaurant and bar.
