Value One is developing a hotel for approximately 300 keys in Bologna, the company’s first hotel investment in Italy. It has just been announced that  the hotel will be managed by the new hotel brand of the company “AWA”, it will be called AWA Hotel Bologna and will become part of Radisson Individuals. The newly built and rather large structure is located near Porta Mascarella, just outside the historic center of Bologna, a few steps from the main attractions of the city, and should be completed by 2023. The hotel will be equipped with 305 keys, a restaurant, a bar, a gym and 140 square meters of MICE space. To complete the offer, a swimming pool and a lounge bar on the roof, with a panoramic view of Bologna. The competitive environment of the city has 27 chain hotels. The main present is the UNA Group, Accor, The Student Hotel, Monrif and finally BWH Hotel Group. Recent chain openings and acquisitions are the PHI Hotel Bologna – Al Cappello Rosso and the Living Place Hotel Bologna, while the Hilton Garden Inn Bologna North, is scheduled to open in 2023. It will be managed by the domestic group Piazza Hotels & Residences.
