Chairman of the Board of Directors of the R&I Foundation (Research & Entrepreneurship) for the period 2022-2025.
From 2007 to 2010, President of AIAF (Italian Association for Financial Analysis). From 2015 to 2018, President of ICCBE (International Conference of Commercial Bank Economists).
A graduate of Bocconi University, he is a member of the Chief Economists’ Group of the European Banking Federation. He is also a member of the Boards of Prometeia, ASSBB, Assonebb, ISPI, SRM, GEI, Bruno Visentini Foundation, Manlio Masi Foundation, Robert Triffin International Foundation, Urban Network of Representations, Foundation Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano and on the Board of the main Intesa Sanpaolo Group Pension Fund.
He is the author of numerous publications concerning financial markets, the evolution of the Italian and European banking, monetary policy, and public debt management.
